Dear parents,

I would like to first of all thank you for taking time to read this letter and for taking an interest in our ministry. I want you to know that we value every student that walks through our doors and we see potential in every young person. Our desire at Static Generation is to offer an atmosphere where students can come in, build relationships and further their commitment to Christ. Our goal is not only to develop them into great young men and women of God, but to also develop them into successful, contributing citizens and teach them how to function in the real world, through God, as young adults. We take this task very seriously and we want you to know that when your student comes to Static Generation, they are in good hands! Our goal is very simple. We want to bring out the best in your student! To accomplish this we use a very simple process:

1- We want to first build a relationship with them. They will not care how much we know until they know how much we care.

2- We want them to see the potential in themselves. We know every student that comes through our doors has unlimited potential. It is our goal to get them to see this and try to achieve that potential.

3- We want to find their gifts and talents. We all have something to offer. We desire to see what each student’s gifts and talents are and help them discover hidden ones. Once these talents are discovered, we desire to train them to the best of our ability to use that gift to contribute to society and the church.

4- We want to disciple them. The only way we can hope they will stay on the right track after Static Generation is to disciple them while they are here with us. Jesus never went outside a 50 mile radius of his hometown to teach parables and perform miracles. His disciples are the ones who, through the power of the Holy Spirit, spread the gospel throughout the world. It is up to us to disciple and train them to be active in the church long after Static Generation.

5- We want to teach them. It is our job to teach them God’s ways now. We offer relevant teaching every week that will challenge and inspire every young person that walks through the doors. We cover almost every topic, possible throughout the year. If we do not teach them now, who will? You can trust that your teenager is having the word of God imparted into them weekly.

We do cover many topics at Static Generation in our teaching. If you are concerned about your teenager being exposed to certain topics, please feel free to become a fan of our Static Generation Parents Facebook page or sign up for our mailing list. Pastor Travis sends out weekly updates that will let you know what he intends to teach on that week. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be a small part of your student’s life. We hope that we can point them toward a light that never goes out. Thank you for your support of Static Generation!
